While the Neo automated floor scrubbing robot is packed with leading-edge hardware and intelligent software, our designers and engineers work tirelessly to ensure it’s really easy to use. Now deployed across five continents and used daily by operators from around the world, translating Neo’s friendly touchscreen user interface for a global user base has been an important focus.

In December, we released version 2.5 of Neo’s software, bringing a host of new features and performance enhancements. We’ve also added the Korean language to a rapidly-expanding list of supported locales, including:

  • English
  • French
  • Japanese
  • Spanish
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Traditional Chinese

Ensuring Neo is easy to deploy for new customers and delivering first-class customer support are also very important to us. So, naturally, all of our product manuals and support documentation are available in multiple languages, as is Avidbots Command Center for performance reporting and robot management.

Best of all, it’s easy for facility managers to change Neo’s language from the Command Center web app. Sign in, head to your profile, choose your preferred language and you’re done.

With Neo now launched in Finland and many more countries on our radar, you can expect Neo’s user interface to be available in additional languages through 2019 and beyond. Of course, 3G/4G LTE and Wi-Fi networking ensures that new software features and enhancements like these can be synced to Neo robots automatically over the air, with no need for operator intervention or downtime.

We’ll be highlighting other new features delivered in our latest software release over the coming weeks, but if you can’t wait, get in touch and we’ll be delighted to tell you more.
